Meet Randye
Randye has worked for Fortune 100 companies for more than 25 years, although her heart & passion had always been elsewhere. She now puts her years of marketing & communications experience to work for small & micro businesses in industries as diverse as Non Profits, Retail, Construction, Financial Services, Authors, Insurance, Dot com start ups, Associations, Health & Wellness & Pet Insurance.
Randye is privileged to serve on the Board of Directors of the Coastal Fairfield County Convention and Visitor Bureau, Inc., and to Chair their Marketing Committee. She has also served on the Board of Directors of the Direct Marketing Association of Orange County, CA as their Membership Chair. One of her corporate marketing campaigns was nominated for an Echo Award. She has worked with Tailwind.com (a small business networking organization) as their marketing advisor.
A sought-after marketing speaker for small business seminars & a relied upon “Ask the Expert” source for Fortune Small Business Magazine, she has her pulse on just how tough it can be to make small budgets work.
A former retail business owner herself, she was able to turn around a struggling store purchased at a fire sale price into a profitable business within just 12 months - all on a shoestring budget.
Her “whole”-istic view of marketing leaves no stone unturned to maximize budgets & results for her clients.
In January 2010, her book "Affordable Marketing Solutions: Proven Techniques to Profitably Market Your Small Business" was published. This 100+ page handbook covers all the small business marketing techniques such as websites, email, coupons, brochures, postcards, trade shows, public relations and more and, most importantly, how to get them right the first time - without wasting time. Each chapter contains worksheets, templates and checklists to guide the small business owner to marketing success.
Released in summer 2009, she is featured as a quoted advisor in “The eBay Marketing Bible”, written by Cliff Ennico, attorney & faculty member of eBay University. Her chapters discuss offline marketing strategies to support a successful online business.
Randye’s small business marketing articles have appeared in the Fairfield County Business Journal, Westchester County Business Journal, SmallBusinessJournal.com, Hudson Valley Business Journal & others.
Randye was also a guest interview on the popular local cable show News 12’s “On the Money” and was a guest on“Abundance with De Boone,” a local radio show.
Randye holds an MBA from the University of Dallas and a BS in Marketing from Pace University.
When not working with clients, Randye teaches marketing and communications courses at the college level and conducts marketing seminars for entrepreneurs.
